The Sands are Whispering, The Paths They are Changing

I stopped and looked at the back today

Do I see beauty?

Do I see destructions?

I never know

Because none ever matters

Matters no one ever.

The Eyes See What They Want To See

August 3, 2009 trugiaz 1 comment

I always said that the concept of truth is like the horizon, a person stands in one place wouldn’t be able to grasp what others see.
Put it simply to fulfill the concept, you can see it, others can see it, but nobody can comprehend what is the absoluteness of truth, it’s because each one sees what they want to see. A different perspective for every person.

Just like the door, all we can think are “is it bolted?” “is it locked?” “is somebody just closed it?” or ”are we the one that lost the key?”

What if I tell you, that the key or lock did not exist and the door is a figment of our imagination, painted by an artist which makes we believe that we’re being locked out. Just like the concept of a horizon-slash-truth, you wanted to see a door and its lock, you’ll see a locked door. Where as in other’s perception the locked door might not exist at all.

Now if you still see a locked door, turn back and take a look. You’re being locked outside, where fate always cross, chances are always present like inconsistency and beauty hides itself in chaos.

What the hell happened here?

Apparently sending SMS to some number with hefty cost will make you change the fortune of your life or changing your destiny here in Indonesia

This is even lower compared to the two actresses. sigh.

I’m on Junk!!

June 6, 2008 trugiaz 2 comments

Well not me actually, it’s one of the photography I sent for the feedback cover contest 2 months back. Last month edition did not mention mine and there is no email to confirm that I’m winning anything then, thus I didn’t even think that it will get accepted.

Well anyway, I had 2 photographs that I was considering to sent to Junk, on the advice of lintang, I sent the first one, which features Petaling Street at dusk (which I also used on one of my post).

The other one is more monochromatic, only featuring a blue balloon on the end of the photo, which can be seen below. This is taken on Sunway College while waiting for the Cultural Night audition.

And today when I was going to bookstores and checking on the magazine stands a new edition of Junk was there, based on premonition I checked out the Feedback sections and lo and behold.

It was accepted!, haha this is even better than finishing my pharmacology exams earlier. At some point, however, I was embarrassed that I did not include my full name and IC and this makes them to put the notification to tell me that better send it next time.

Back to the purpose of sending the picture, it was to confirm whether one could produce a good/artistic photography with the use of normal P&S camera (non lomo or DSLR) and with this I think I already get the answer.

Well anyway, thanks for Junk to feature my photo and Lintang for giving me advice on which one should I picked.

Tools to keep up and running

May 10, 2008 trugiaz Leave a comment

As much as I wanted to keep up this blog, I still haven’t figure out how to manage the time writing this while writing my reports as well and sorting out my life. Fortunately lifehacker.com had a post on 10 tools that can help us in keeping up our blog, which is probably could get pretty handy at times.

As I read through the commentaries I found out that there is something interesting, it is about  Windows live writer, which is a privilege to Windows users only. My good friend Gerry had mentioned in his post. Unfortunately for OS X user did not have this privilege, which is quite embarrassing as the it had and always been portrayed as the creative machinery.

Well anyway, I would probably try some of the tools provided above, and write another post again.

Cheers

A trial

Now, I’m trying to use flock to post my blog posting, which is seems pretty awesome but let’s just see how’s the results going to be shown on the blog.

For you guys who have no idea what flock is, it is actually a new free web browser, which is aimed and made specifically for the web 2.0 world. It is provided with a side bar which contain all the social networking (facebook, filckr, youtube, twitter) as well as media sharing, blogging and online bookmarking site which is generally almost all those you need to kill time.

flock in action

why is it cool? aside you could post up blog directly from your browser (you don’t need to go your site), you could check facebook without also going to the site, it is also functioning as a great normal web browser because it is powered by mozilla (see the thumbnail).

So if you guys a new web browser directly use for your web 2.0 life, you could get flock here and found all the information there as well.

Cheers!

Support the system shall we?

February 29, 2008 trugiaz Leave a comment

As much as my own annoyance at the system, for it’s sometimes confusing, complex, and repetitive. I still feel there’s a need to support it, which could be done by improving the factor that is most likely to cause error in the system itself. the human factor.

A system in for collecting print jobs in Monash University Malaysia, which I view as a solution for creating order (one person could only take his/her print job and not others) and for the helping of environment (If one person get the print that he/she needed than there is no need to print another set of copies thus it does not waste the paper)has been failed considerably.

As the new semester kicks in the number of students increased considerably and many still don’t know how to collect the printing account (shown by many papers which are not collected by them at the end of the day), in which the explanation could be the information is not clear enough, or they are just plain ignorant (in which I hope they would change).

In the end, this is just a very small example in my life, there are larger problems in the world right now. I just hoped that, we all could support the system that is good, criticize ones that is had flaws, and taking the words of Mahatma Gandhi “be the change that you want to see in the world”.

And another year almost passed

December 26, 2007 trugiaz 1 comment

2007 had been very kind to me, in a way that I perceive it. A lot had been happened including in it is my desire to write and creating a blog, as well as my birthday which I can proudly say that I’m legally adult age-wise, but still trying to become more and more mature but at least I can say that I have new perceptions of how life should be, and I’ll make those perceptions to become my principles, my guides in many time to come.

2007 is not all just about me, other people perceptions and the world and universe too have evolved become older and hopefully meeting our expectations.I really haven’t make any resolutions for 2008, but I think I’ll make a few, which is really unlikely for me. Last time it’s only hopes that the next year would be better than this, now I wanted new things, I want to graduate from my university and go have a job somewhere, these two are my goals that have to be attained in 2008. Other stuff? I’m still planning it but I wanted to travel somewhere preferably alone, or do some social working, there should be time where we have to reach the community I believe.

In the end I would like to thank God for His eternal blessing, for His forgiveness, for Him I could breath and do my work everyday, as well as everybody that have been supporting me all this year mom dad, my sister, my big family, my significant other and my friends which although I won’t be able to meet again with you or I haven’t seen you for a long time, trust me we’ll get back again under the same sky, breath the same air, and reminisce the old days.

Cheers, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
